Each week, the nine Iowa Conference Sports Information Directors select one athlete from each of the Conference sponsored sports to be honored as the IIAC Player of the Week for that particular sport.  From the Players of the Week, one male and one female athlete are selected as the IIAC Athlete of the Week.
